Council Christmas Party

2007

Saint Joan's Council Christmas party is  the 3rd Wednesday of December, and our last social of the calendar year.  Our Program Chairman, John Nussear has created unique programs each year to entertain our families and bring us together to enjoy and celebrate the birth of Jesus.  Deacon Bill Nickum managed the evening as MC and kept everything moving on time.

Deacon Bill Nickum at his best!

Mike and Anne Musachio enjoyed the evening while Brian Zadalis played Christmas Music and Donny Gallagher and Bill and Linda had a serious exchange.

Santa came early to visit the young  . . . . .

"Many thanks to John and Ronda Lane for the pictures of our 2007 Christmas Party!"

. . . . and not so young

Megan Anderson had some special requests for Santa  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .Santa had a surprise for PGK Donny Gallagher

Stuffing balloons into a pair of 'panty hose' takes some real finesse;  but our Ladies and Knights were up to the task and had plenty of help form the rest of who worked to help, blowing-up balloons.  The "Moose Antlers" were created in record time with the help of almost everyone at the party.

The objective for the teams of "Buns and Nuts" was to open a 'candy kiss' while wearing the 'antlers' and an 'oven mitt' on each hand;  I know some of our contestants ate some tinfoil in their hurry.

Skip Gunther and Mike Porter worked on their 'candy kiss',  Mike Musachio had some help,  and Peggy Finnerin couldn't even see her "chocolate kiss"

If you know who is standing in these shoes you can win a special 'prize'!

The first correct answer wins the "Prize", everyone is eligible!

Winner of the "whose foot" contest is: Angie Sawn, wife of brother Pat Sawn, for identifying Sue Fleegle's Pumps!

Saint Joan of Arc's Christmas party is always on the 3rd Wednesday evening of December (our social night).  This year it was catered by "The Emerson House Restaurant" of Denton, where they prepare excellent food and also train our young boys and girls in the "Culinary Arts"
