BUILDING, GROUNDS AND MAINTENANCE
The physical environment for worship, praise and thanksgiving is important. The appearance, condition and function of the parish buildings and grounds must be well attended. This committee is responsible for our two churches, St. Benedict and St. Elizabeth, the Family Life Center and our two cemeteries: St. Elizabeth Cemetery (next to the church in Denton) and Holy Cross Cemetery (on Greensboro Road). The maintenance is performed by contractors and volunteers who form the Parish Workforce. There is an annual inspection made of all buildings and grounds at the beginning of each year in preparation for budget planning in early March.
