UPCOMING  LENTEN  OFFERINGS
SACRAMENT  OF ANOINTING  OF THE  SICK @ ALL MASSES  ON MARCH 25/26

On  the  weekend  of  March  25/26,  the  Sacrament  of  Anointing will be celebrated at all
masses.  Anointing of the Sick is the sacrament that is received by those who are ill or
suffering.    By  the  sacred  anointing  and  the  prayer  of  the  priest,  the  whole  Church
commends those who are sick to Christ.  The sick person receives the Holy Spirit’s gifts
of  strength,  faith,  peace,  and  courage,  and  his  or  her  suffering  is  united  with  the
suffering of Christ for the building up of the
nos.  1520-23).    This  Sacrament  is  for  any  Catholic  who  desires  the  graces  of  the
sacrament  to  restore  the  hope  of  physical  or  mental  healing.    The  Anointing’s
happen after the homily at all masses.  If you wish to be anointed at one of the masses,
simply fill out the card
need  to  register  and  cannot  simply  show  up  to  be  anointed.

Tuckahoe Habitat for Humanity is seeking volunteers to work on the Habitat
Re-Store  Committee.   
The Re-Store is located in the old Nuttle Lumber building
in  Denton  (701  Lincoln  St.,  Denton)  and  accepts  donations  of  furniture, fixtures,
appliances and other household goods for resale to the community.  All proceeds
directly benefit Tuckahoe Habitat in the
Committee volunteers will help determine set-up and direction of the

Assembly   has   stopped   the   advancement   of   legislation   that   would   legalize
physician-assisted  suicide  in  the  state.

Conference  was  part  of  a  broad-based  coalition  that  worked  to  defeat  the  bill,
which included disability rights advocates, mental health professionals, physicians,

an important role in upholding the dignity of all life by defeating this dangerous and
