*Ed Centofante acknowledged the lawsuit that was publicized in the Star-
Democrat and Times-Record in the past week and stated that he could not say
much more and asked that the Council understand that because of the
situation, Fr. Carroll cannot either. Executive Committee feels it is
important to put out a letter to the parish to assure the parish of
protection from financial obligations and to express our firm belief in Fr.
Carroll.

* Novena for healing- there will be “no agenda”
traditional prayers -let them speak for themselves
* We are on the cutting edge with what we want for our
parish- therefore finding resources to do what we want
is difficult- We need to increase our awareness of
resources in the area. We can do this by making
connections with people at conferences, talks etc.
G. Closing Prayer-
* Chapter 19 of United States Catholic Catechism for
Adults-
“Anointing and Healing” by Ed Centofante
The Sacrament of Anointing the Sick unites us with the
passion of Christ through our own suffering as well as
gives peace to our loved ones.
