Pending bid on brick facing for Holy Cross cemetery wall
·
Rectory kitchen and utility room flooring will be replaced—to begin
couple weeks
·
Pending bids on St. Elizabeth parking lot repairs for complete
replacement of water line
Social Ministries
·
Hospice support is being looked at as possible new committee in
Parish Social ministries effort
·
Habitat breakfast Oct. 20. Will be displaying Christmas wreaths w/
proceeds going to hospice
·
Fall NASCAR fund raiser= $650
·
Richard Palazzolo and Fred Bradbury put up silhouettes in churches
and hall for Oct. Respect Life Month
·
Human Dignity committee raised $400 for Choices Walk For Life
·
Collecting tuna for Samaritan House and can goods for St. Martin’s
·
Planning for NUTS Thanksgiving meal program
·
Breaking Bread luncheon possibly in Jan.
FINANCE REPORT:
·
First quarter numbers still down. $5250 budget per wk/ $4700 (-550)
·
Increase in attendance = increase in collection?
·
Annual Report received favorable feedback
·
Is there a count taken for Knight’s Breakfast? Attendance seems
down
(Younger kids here, not as many Middle and High School) students need
30 hrs. —Required here for Super Sundays
OLD BUSINESS:

Chris Spinner asked about the status of the lawsuit. Fr. Carroll
responded by saying that —“the matter has been resolved”. Chris
said, :”It’s settled?” Fr. Carroll responded: “That is not what I
said” and commented no further.
NEW BUSINESS:

Cemetery clean up, met w/ Mike Rhodes about bricking front wall,
possibly both sides. There are funds from BTVTL designated for
cemetery work.
